i was wondering if it was possible to edit the templates so that i can have a simple text box but with the clickable smilies.
(i do not mind the loss of the editor)

i tried the codebuttons in the ungrouped where i removed the editor.js javascript but then the smilies were no longer clickable.

all i want to do is have a simple tedxt box but WITH clickable smilies so that i can add my own editor

Clickable smilies depends on the BBCode editor. You'll have to make your own modifications.
