can someone help me with the mod rewrite

im using the seo plugin

i currently have

forumdisplay.php?fid=xx --> forumname-f-xx.html

but i would like

forumdisplay.php?fid=xx --> forumname.html

is that possible with .htaccess modification or adding/modification of rewrite rules

Not possible as it's setup. You need something to indicate what the forum id is.

Exactly what Lab said. Otherwise, everything would need to lead to one page.

It's possible if you want to do it manually, however, I really fail to see why you'd bother.

To do it manually, look up how to use mod_rewrite, and probably read up a bit on regexes.
