Hello,

When I set the forum permission "can post replies" to "no" for a group on a forum, the group cannot read the threads of the forum.

Normally, they should be able to view them but not to post ?

Any idea ?

Can't reproduce. Have tried unticking "Can Post Threads" and "Can Post Replies", and can still view the forum fine. Also tried just unticking "Can Post Replies" and can still view the forum and threads fine.

Would you be able to try setting up a test board and give step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce? Thanks.

Well I'll try this this evening. That's strange, my forum has lots of problems since I upgraded.

Click edit/set permissions next to the usergroups on the permissions page of the particular forum. Chances are the option to allow that group to view threads is unticked. It's happened to me a few times.
