I just installed MyBB 1.4.2 and I'm not getting smilies, post icons, buttons etc ...

I have checked the path to the images folder and have even gone with the absolute path, I have checked file permissions and every thing looks OK.

If I view source on any of the pages the img src tags all point to the right places, but nothing is shown ..only the text...

Every thing else appears to be working correctly. There were no issues with the install.

Maybe its late and I missed something stupid

Thanks for any help
Does it show the image in your browser when you visit the whole URL?? What's the link to your forum??

The Url for the board is http://www.miurareps.net/BB

If i go to to that page and view source the link to the search button at the top of that page is shown as

<li><a href="http://www.miurareps.net/BB/search.php"><img src="http://www.miurareps.net/BB/images/toplinks/search.gif" alt="" title="" />Search</a></li>

So it is looking in the right place (the file is there) but the button does not show. That is typical of all images..none show

If you go to http://www.miurareps.net/BB/images/toplinks/search.gif, you get a forbidden page .... Could there be permissions issues?

Scratching my head
Go into your AdminCP Diagnostics and see if it shows that all folders on your server have the correct permissions.
