In the theme I'm working on, when you click the on image, it becomes unclickable, the alt is "no new posts", but the image is still "on"
any idea where this could be going wrong?

Can you give more information? What on image? The one that says there are new posts?

Are you having a problem with the fact that your "on" image has the alt attribute of an "off" image?
If not I really don't know what you're getting at. xD
I don't see what's hard to understand about this.
When there are unread posts, it displays the clickable on.png as usual.
When you click it to mark the forum as read, the image remains on.png, but the alt becomes the correct alt from off.png.
Once you refresh the page, it will correctly display off.png.
Well, that just sounds like a problem with your cookies/cache or whatever not really anything you can do but refresh the page.
It is weird that the ALT changes though...
This is happening to me to.
It's a MyBB bug, not a skin issue.
I don't really see how this is a bug with MyBB considering it works fine in our theme.
Do you get any Javascript errors?
