This problem has been mentioned before but, none of the answers I've seen have helped much. After entering my database information I receive the following message:
Could not connect to the database server at 'localhost' with the supplied username and password. Are you sure the hostname and user details are correct?
I must be missing something with the machine name information or something but, the following is my database info:
Server is hosted on my LAN....database name = mybb_forum, username = mybb_user, and password = mybb_login
I know the database is configured correctly...I have checked it several times. What am I missing...please help.....really tired of being stuck on this installation?
