Well I just opened up my forum today. Now every now and then when I refresh I get a MySQL error. This doesnt happen all the time, but most. Is there a way to prevent this? When the error comes up, the query says 'Unable to connect to MySQL Server'.

This seems to be a problem with your host's stability. You may want to open a support issue with them.
