Hi All,

Not too sure if this is possible, but I am looking at installing a forum onto my home laptop (so I can set it all up and add information and content to it before uploading to a server) - is this possible?

How secure is MyBB - is it possible to lock of threads from different users (how many different user types can I have?) - eg. is it possible to have 20 different thread and 20 groups could only access THEIR corresponding thread or sub-folder for threads?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have to download WAMP and use that.

MyBB itself is very secure. You can have as many different user groups as you like, and can make some forums only visible to ceratin groups.
