Alright I haven't been here in 2 years and think I might give MyBB a go.

Also plugins is there documentation to creating plugins? Can someone locate me in the correct direction.

"Clean" URLs? The URLs on this board you see here is what MyBB has. For keywords in URLs, there's a plugin for that.
