The problem that I have is that in my admin control panel has certain options listed twice, since my upgrade to the current version of MyBB

Here is a link to a screen shot of the page in question, and you can scroll down yourself and see which particular options are listed twice.

Big Grin sorry, but this is funny.....my guess is that, while upgrading, the new settings came, but the former settings didn't go away, so, some of them are for your previous version, and the others for the current
try running the upgrade process again
Yeah, I guess so, and it is humorous. But, I would still like to fix it.

OK, I tried downloading and running the file provided in that thread, but it did not solve the problem. I even cleared my browser's cache and cookies, to be sure.

Any other suggestions?
You can delete the duplicates manually in the ACP.

Follow Matt's advice - there will be an "options" menu next to the duplicated settings.

Apparently this is fixed in 1.4.3 so it *shouldn't* happen again if I remember right...

It was fixed in 1.4.2's download package as soon as we saw users were having problems...
OK, thanks for that advice. It's a rather slow and time consuming way to delete so many duplicates, but at least it is done. Being able to click on multiple boxes and then delete them all in one fell swoop would have been a better approach, though.
Well it wasn't an expected problem so the availability to delete them all in one go was never considered necessary, I guess. People usually only delete settings if they deactivate plugins but the settings stay.
