I am trying to log out of my forum using FIREFOX but is not letting me I deleted the cookies but nothing
I can log out fine using IE
When you say it is not letting you, what exactly is happening? Do you click logout and you get a blank screen, do you click logout and it still shows your info in the welcome area, or something else?
ok, go to Admin CP > Board Settings > Change > General Configuration, and add a cookie domain and path. To do that, take you forums url (
http://www.nychat.net/) and make the values like the following:
Domain: .nychat.net
Path: /
then clear you cookies and cache and try again.
I have it setup just like that but the only thing that I was missing the was the
. but I still can't log out.
it shows me the log out screen but when the pages comes back I see that I am still logged in.
only with FIREFOX.
doesn't do that with IE it works just fine with IE.
When you are about to click "Logout", does your address bar in your browser have "http://www.", "www.", "http://" or something else before your site address? Compare to what is says before and after you logout. Example:
Before-
http://mysite.com
After-
http://www.mysite.com
Please let me know once you have checked!
it goes from .net to .net/admin.php
What about the pretense? (http://, www.,
http://www., etc.)?
stays the same the only thing that changes is the .net to .net/index.php
Hmm...is this the New York City forum that is having the problem?
