Used vB 3.7.3, converted to MyBB 1.2.14, upgraded to MyBB 1.4.2

Everything on my forum is fine, except I can't get my old users to login with their old passwords. I'm aware I was merging for vB 3.6, but is there any way that I can fix this? I've already done the merging with the new loginconvert.php.

Anything I can do?

Do you have the merge plugin activated still?? It needs to be for it to work.

I am having the same issue. I just merged my SMF 1.1.7 board over to a myBB 1.2.14 board and none of my members logins work. I tried running the loginconvert.php script and got the following error:

Quote:Direct initialization of this file is not allowed.

Please make sure IN_MYBB is defined.

As far as the merge plugin being activated I believe it is, but it is not listed under the plugins section of the Admin panel. Am I looking in the wrong spot?

As A Side Fix They Call Can Click Lost Password And Reset It Themsleves.

I fixed it. I needed to add the modified loginconvert.php to the plugins folder.
