I dont know why disable html code???

It is disabled by default so malicious users can't do bad things. If we let people use it, they may use some Javascript to redirect the browser to a malicious website. They could even use it to unleash some malware to everyone who views the post. It's a security thing.

Do you mean here or on your forum?? What Scott said applies to both but you can enable it on your own forum if you want to risk it.

You can create custom myCode if you don't want to go the full length and allow HTML code.

Alot of forums are "hacked" by people allowing HTML code, so it's always best to keep it disabled.

Is it a usergroup setting??

I think it should be a usergroup setting though... labrocca has a plugin to enable it for groups and even specific users, which I think is really good. That way you can give it to admins and mods, as they are trusted, and then maybe a specific user who may need it.

I think I might take a gander to mybbcentral...

It's an omission, one that I like in IPB, but the MyBB propaganda machine will be out if it's made into a suggestion - simple, easy to use { insert more } forum system...

I think they just wanted to know why it's unselected in the forum settings by default Unless they have confused 'why' for 'how.
