I have 1.4.3 and today there is an new update is there an package that does this automatically?

bombo, if you downloaded it before yesterday, you can manually apply the changes here:

Or you can also download the new "changed files" package, and reupload those files.

Plugins/modifications don't effect any files, right? So I should be able to edit any of the release-files and overwrite them with the new ones without having any problems with it erasing a modification, right?

As long as your modifications aren't changing core files which most do not.

Found a problem with the 1.2.14 patch.

It says to "add after" on attachment but I have to assume it means "replace with". Please confirm because "add after" will cause a break in the if statement.
