The method that was posted on this forum is not working on all host expecialy those with mod_security2. Can be modified mybb to work on host's with mod_security and mod_security2?On my host the only version that works is mybb 1.2 (without the method to disable mod_security) but mybb 1.4 i don't know why it's not working
Which method are you referring to?
That method is over 12 months old, however, will stil fix most of the problems.
At the bottom of
[Wiki: Help:Mod_security] (Broken link, head over to docs.mybb.com instead) is an explaination that has fixed all of the errors I have seen.
Simply contact your host, and ask them to whitelist your domain against mod_security. If you search around the forums you'll get the correct method to solve the problem.
