I guess you're better off searching the Merge System Section, as it's related to this.

I think the error relates to your database - "mybb_mybb_posts"... somehow I don't think this is right. This error normally appears when you have plugins active when upgrading MyBB...

If you are converting vB to MyBB 1.4 you will need to download the SVN Snapshot (version 1.4 beta 1) from the downloads page. Can you confirm if you're using that?
