Full Version: some users can't see site

Yesterday, I received a text from a buddy saying he can't see the site. I think he said it's just a blank page. I thought it was on his end because everything was working on my end. Also, I had other users logged in and using the site.

Today I get another text from a different user saying he can't get on either. One user is a registered user and the other one is a Mod.

What's the deal?

Jeremy

Some very high numbers there. Might not have anything to do with it though...
I'm on Dreamhost, what did you expect? Smile

Same here too now. I opened it up in IE and logged out now I'm seeing a blank page too.

*EDIT*
Disabled the SEO Links! plugin and all is good. Lame.
Ah, yeah there's a lot of problems with SEO plugins... I was about to suggest disabling GZIP compression if it was turned on, but I'm glad the problem is fixed Smile

Disabling GZIP was the first thing I did. I've had the SEO plugin enabled for about two weeks since upgrading to 1.4 and for years on 1.2. So I have A LOT of SEO'd internal links that will be gone now. Why all of a sudden would it decide to crash the site.

Dammit, with the SEO plugin disabled all my forum topics are invalid. They all have the old SEO'd links.
It's only the index page that has problems - everything else is fine... what SEO plugin do you use??
The SpiceFuse one.
