Hi everybody...

I recently Upgraded mybb v1.2 into v1.4 n it succesfull, but after that why the new PM alert notification pop up can't show up???

I already check the option at user CP but nothing seem2 to happen, is it because i'm using the old template???

With 1.4.x there is no pop-up, but a message across the screen under the welcome block. When going from 1.2.x to 1.4.x you must make sure all your templates are default. Go through them and revert them all to default, and then try again. Specifically, revert the index template, as this is where the PM notification code is, but the rest will need to be reverted too

The pop-up was changed to a notification bar, located under the welcomeblock ("Welcome back, (username).") as it was less intrusive of members.
Edit: It should look similar to the coloured bars we have here on these forums on the forum index.
