I can not get the moderator tools to display on my site when logged in as an Administrator. Can anyone point me to the right setting or what else I might look for to get them to display?

Thank you!
By Moderator tools, do you mean the options at the bottom of each forum and thread??

Yes, to delete the post's and thread's.
Do you have any plugins that you think might interfere with this? And does the same happen in each theme you have / browser you use?

I have something written down on this but it's at work... can't remember what it is specifically...

In the usergroup that is having the problem, edit that group. On the bottom of "General" tab, is users of this group are super moderators ticked? If this is not active then the inline moderation will not appear...

Thank you for the response. I checked all of those settings and the only plugin I added was akisment so I removed that hoping to fix the issue but no luck. It was working in one browser up until yesterday when I removed the cookies from that browser, it stopped working there as well.
Right... so which version of MyBB are you using? Have you upgraded recently? What were you doing before you noticed this was happening?

Do you have a "secondary" group that doesn't have S-Mod permissions? Have you checked the templates to make sure the coding exists in them?...

Exhaust all possibilities and even upload old backups to a test directory to check if they are the same...

That one in particular might cause a problem. But as you're trying to log in as an admin, admin rules all, so you should have them... could you PM me admin details so I can see what's what?? Got some free time.
It's a pain though... there are primary, additional and display groups. There's things I've noticed I can't do if I'm displayed in a seperate group...

Ideally we need to know what you were doing before you realised this happened. Is this a default install and a default theme that you're using?

N.B. it could be due the fact I'm messed around so much that this happens... as a default install doesn't replicate
Btw, this is sorted now Smile
How was it fixed?
