On my forums, someone told me that they cannot register, they get redirected to member.php with an error message.
I checked the ACP and it appears that I have "Disable Registrations" set to "no"...
I'm not sure if there is anything else... but I find this odd.
What is this error message??

Hmm, that's weird... what registration method do you have?? Email verification, random password, admin activation or instant activation??
I have instant activation. Sorry if my site was down, we just had a power surge, had to restart my server.
I still need help.
Can you change it to something other than instant and say here when it's done?? Email activation will be fine.
I tried all four variations and get that same error message.
I fixed this. It appears that one my my plugins, Nickman's Choose Your Group at Registration. Was interfering with the registration process.
