That is the problem I am having, how do I get to this path?:

Admin CP --> Templates & Style --> *Edit your theme* --> Board Logo

I just replaced the original logo with mine - placed it in the same location and it still does not work.
The default image is a .gif file type. And is called "logo".

It belongs in the /images folder. From what I can tell, you've removed the original file and not replaced it with anything.

Did you just check it again?

I placed it back in the original location - at least I think I did.
Follow the link yourself, nothing shows up: http://norbyson.com/forum/images/logo.gif

Well I reverted back to:

http://norbyson.com/forum/images/logo.gif

Is the assumption, I have to replace 'logo.gif' correct? In other words, resave it with the one I want to use?

Also, while I am at it, I went into Global.css in Admin CP and changed the color of the background and it did not work. I confirmed that the color code was correct. Could it be the browser? Are there any issues with changing the bgcolor?

Thanks.

Yes you have to overwrite the existing 'logo.gif'. Then clear your browsers cache and refresh the page.

Ok, I will try it tomorrow. Thanks GhostBig Grin

Would the same apply if I want to place an image in its place? I was considering putting a photo/banner with my site title inserted into it.
Yeah... it should all be the same... an image for an image. Should work as long as it's got the same name and extension.
