Hello,

I have a forum that is setup correctly, but for some reason when a user uploads a .ppt file it shows a red x instead of the graphic. All of the other upload graphics work fine. I downloaded the ppt.gif and it looks fine.

Do you know what the problem could be?
Try CHMODDing that graphic.

I had this same problem when I set up a forum once.

I don't get it....This worked for me.
Perhaps you need to re-upload that image?
If you right-click on the red x, and go to properties, make sure that the path to the image is the same as the directory the image is in.
Can you upload here what doesn't work?? .ppt is PowerPoint isn't it?? Not sure how that's meant to display...

Edit: I can't even upload a .ppt... what have you modified to allow it??

He added a new attachment type in his Admin-CP.
I solved the problem.

I went into the admin panel and had to add the ppt.gif in the extension area.

Thanks to everyone.
