So all the users information is the left...but when I put it on
it doesn't show up that way. Like at one point it did and then
I just now noticed it didn't, so I went to change it back to
the classic view but it was already that way. So I changed it
to the horizontal view to see if that would look different...but it
looked the same when I clicked "View Forum"

So what I am wondering is why is it when I click to see the classic
view, and save, and then view forum, the users information is still on
top of the post.

Are you changing this setting in the ACP?? The setting in the ACP will only affect what guests see, and the setting new users start with. Changing the ACP setting will NOT change what registered users see.
