I installed the SpiceFuse SEO mod from the mods directory. Appaently my host does not have mod_rewrite (I thought they did) so the SEO URLs were not redirecting to the normal URLs. I deactivated the plugin and deleted the files. Now the URLs for everything are still the broken ones.

ACP > Configuration > Server and Optimization Options > Enable search engine friendly URLs? > enable it, save, and then disable it, and save. This might push through the original URLs.
