well, I changed my Post layout to the classic one. after awhile I added a few plugins. and now I cannot change back to the classic one, even though it shows it's selected in the settings. the modern horizontal Post Layout is being active. I am using MyBB 1.4.3.

I've tried to uninstall all plug ins except specific forum banning which I can't get uninstalled. as I don't know much about MySQL I can't really remove it. and don't want to damage the forums.

if the problem is caused by this plugin, how can I manually remove it. if it's now, how can I get this setting to work?

Are you changing this in the UCP or ACP??

*sigh* This is copy and pasted from a file I have saved on my computer now as it's said so many times it's easier to copy and paste it each time. The ACP settings is the layout guests see, and the setting new users have when they first register. Once a user has registered, changing the ACP setting will not change their post layout.
