I really like this template...but I just want to know how to change the dark gray background that I point out in my picture. I like the light gray and the stripped background.

Now I know to change the background [in this case it's the stripes] you go to admin --> Templates & Styles --> *Your Theme* --> Global.css

But how would I change just that one dark gray color to like say a red or something?

I want my forums to stay the same dark forums too.

That part of the stylesheet is called #container. Simply change the background properties of this to what you want

You can find the #container in the global.css...
