I've looked through the entire Admin CP (I think) but I figure out how to upload a logo, forum icons, etc. Can someone help?
Sure...
In your FTP utility find the "images" folder to replace logo.gif with your logo.
Forum icons are there too.

If you are using a theme someone else made then you probably have a sub-folder with the theme name.
Ok, forgive me for being a total noob, but what is FTP utility? Is it in the Admin CP?
Do you remember how you uploaded your MyBB files? Use that to upload a different image.
It might have been an FTP client or a web based script that allowed you to upload the contents of the /Upload folder. Smile
I didn't upload my MyBB files- a friend did that because I'm not really that good with coding at all. Then they made me admin and demoted themselves so it was forum again (since it was there suggestion I move from ProPhp to MyBB)

So in other words, I have no idea.
You'll need to ask your friend how he/she did it then. Smile

Alternatively, just ask your friend to upload the logo for you.

Also, you do not need to be good with coding at all to administrate a MyBB board, although it may be beneficial at times. Just like driving a car, you don't need to be a mechanic, but it may help. Smile
Actually if you go to ACP > Templates & Style > **choose theme** > scroll down to Board Logo, and put in a complete http:// URL of an externally hosted image, that'll work. So you can upload it to photobucket or imageshack or something and put the entire link to the image into the logo field.

By a full http:// URL I mean something like this: http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en_uk/images/logo.gif
Another downside is that... see the person who uploaded it for me is no longer and admin, and when I try to promote them, it says I have to be a "Super Admin" in order to edit that user. How do I make myself a Super Admin?

Thanks, I'll try that!
If you open ./inc/config.php, find a line somewhere about super admins and put in the UID of the user.
And (forgive me for again being an absolute noob) where do I find ./inc/config.php ?
