You should be able to add the code to the template where you want it to show.

Well if you add Google Adsense code you just add the code into the template... they don't show instantly though.
btw if ive said it wrong its the adverts that appear in text like threads for example if some one made a thread or reply certain words would be highlighted as a advert
Highlighted?? What sort of adverts are you using??
when your mouse goes over the text a popup comes up, On forums like hackforums.net they have it (but theres is a plugin i think) it basicly highlights the text and underlines it (certain text) and makes a popup appear when you put your mouse over it.
Oh, well you didn't make that very clear... you'll have to find a site that supplies those ads and see how they say to implement them.
