Can you please guide me on how to update from MyBB 1.2.14 to 1.4.3?
What package or patchs should I apply? can I go directly from 1.2.14 to 1.4.3? how?

You use the 1.4.3 package. Make a complete database and file backup, delete all your files except ./inc/config.php and ./inc/settings.php, upload all new files apart from those 2, go to ./install/upgrade.php and choose 1.2.14 from the list.

Make certain that you have a full file and database backup. Create a test forum with the files and upload the backup to it and make sure it works. If you don't have a backup and something goes wrong, you'll kick yourself...
