i dont know if iv been hacked or its a bug. but i am the main account on my forum. "UID=1" and iv been demoted to registered user.... which i now cant log into my forum...
im using 1.4.3 where there security issues with this. i know there is a update and i will do that asap. But this seems weird. Do other admins have permission to demote me or is this a hack of my account?
yer i know how about the search function and i know how to restore. and it wasnt a promotion thing.
Well anyway, the way to restore it has been said many times. I'm not sure why you made the thread if you already knew how to fix it.

yer i did. u made it sound like every forum should use them lol. so i was wondering if i was missing out on a amazing feature lol. iv seen logs there is nothing in there. so i think its a mysql attack. thx for ur advice anyway. its all sorted now. and iv patched my forum and website

I asked it in a way to confirm that you hadn't, as nearly every single case of an admin losing rights has been due to the promos system for some reason, I wasn't questioning why you hadn't... sorry if it came across like that
