After upgrading v1.43 to v1.44 I get the following two things happen:

1) From the main Admin dashboard, it says I have not run a version check for two weeks.

2) Every time I run a version check, I get the following error message:

There was a problem communicating with the version server. Please try again in a few minutes.

The upgrade went well and it shows as being v 1.44, but there is that version check problem. Is this something to be concerned about? Some kind of fly in the ointment?
