Hi

i used to have a mybb forum which was ruined due to some host issues

i still have the lastest DB backup ..but when i restore it and try a new themes it doesn't work properly

i want to transfer the

>FORUMS
>POSTS
>THREADS (! obvious i know but listed anyway)
>USERS

what tabled must a backup and restore to do this properly thanks

To be honest it's probably easier to copy everything across and delete things via the ACP etc afterwards, it's safer like that. But if you really only want those 4 then just copy the tables with those names.

It actually depends how far of a copy you want to perform. Attachments, usergroups... my advice would be to do a brand new install, then replace the database with your backup. Then decide what you want to keep by going through your forum.

Just copying those tables probably won't get the results you're looking for.

Yeah... Why not transfer more than you'll need, as you can remove it after if it isn't wanted.
