Well, since there apparently are no plans to include an LDAP auth plugin until 2.0, can anyone create one? I know PHP, but I have no idea how I'd go about checking it against the LDAP usernames and passwords.

I know that there is a plugin for this for phpBB, so I'll get a coder to take a look at whether it's possible to convert this to MyBB... although we're not all too clever with LDAP...

Hm .. I think, if I can find the phpBB one, and figure out how to work plugins for MyBB, I might be able to do it myself .. Got a link?

We swapped from phpBB to B2evolution - apparently it's easier. Check out:

I had to get it from the SVN though as there is no packages to download...
