Here is the problem.

My registered users can like how they were made, I went to the one forum which I called "News and Info". I made the settings, can view and post replies and the checkbox that says "Registered--- Use Group Default" is removed.

Now in that the settings I wanted to make was the registered users cannot make threads, just reply and view. After I did all these I told about, registered members can't view any thread in news and info section... and if i go back and check use group default, they can view it but they can also make threads which i don't want them to do..

why?

So if you go to ACP > Forums & Posts > **choose forum** > Options > Permissions > **choose group** > Edit Permissions/Set Permissions > everything is correct there and the setting to 'use the permissions below' is selected??
