MyBB Community Forums - Themes for newest myBB version?

Hey.

I'm new to using myBB, and I have just set up my forum. I understand that there has been a new release recently for MyBB.

I can't seem to find any themes which work properly with the 1.4.4 version of MyBB. I always get the message "This theme has been written for another version of MyBB," and if I do select "Ignore Version Compatibility" the skin doesn't work properly.

Can somebody please guide me to somewhere where I can get themes which will work for my version of MyBB.

Am I doing something wrong? Or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Everytime I try these it always says that they are for older versions. The only one that has worked for me is "Aardvark."

They all work fine otherwise they wouldn't be there. Some do say that they are not compatible but if you tick the box to ignore it they work fine.

How exactly do they not work, anyway??

Most of the images won't load, including the main banner... Ill add a picture.

The file named "Screenshot - Index.png" is what the theme should look like, and the other image is what it looks like on my forum.

Could you give me some direct links for some themes which you know work...

i have that same problem, after u click that igonore it box it says the theme you uploaded is corrupt.

Either you haven't uploaded the images, the image path in the theme settings is incorrect, or your Board URL is incorrect.

All of the themes in the Mods section work. That is why they are there, because they work. The reason they do not work for you is because you have set something up wrong.

Ah. I don't just upload the xml file on the admin panel? I have to upload the images using ftp to my server as well?

Yes, the images aren't there for the sake of it. Did you read the readme that came with the theme??

Upload the images to a new folder in ./images/
The name of what the folder should be in the readme, or look in the theme settings and it'll say where it's trying to pull images from.
