Full Version: Transfered DB to New Host (Theme Messed Up)

So I transferred everything over.. It was all working fine, I had it set-up. And then I refreshed the page and my theme went all funny.. There is no theme, it's just a white page with text. And no, I'm not using the "Lite Archive" option. I've re-uploaded the skin multiple times. I'm not sure what to do.

Anyone have any suggestions?

3 things to check here:
  1. Check your Board URL correct in ACP > Configuration > General Configuration
  2. Is the path to the theme images correct in ACP > Templates & Style > **choose theme** > Options??
  3. Is ./cache/ and ./cache/themes/ CHMOD to 777??

You're a savior. I love you, I accidentally forgot to update the Board URL from my last host so it was looking for directories through a path that wasn't even there.

Big Grin Happy to help Smile As a general bit of advice, it's always best to update board URLs and cookie settings before you move host or change URL, as then they'll be ready when everything is changed over, rather than having errors like this, or having to edit files. Glad it's sorted Smile
