just installed a complete fresh install of 1.4.4 on my new database. I cant seem to edit templates though - its all grayed out.
any ideas?

go to the admin cp> go to Preferences> then turn off codepress
What browser are you using?
If its a KHTML/Webkit/Webcore based browser(Konquerer Opera, safari, Chrome, etc...), then trying a gecko one(Firefox, epiphany, fasterfox).
