When creating a category or forums it shows up on the front page, but doesn't let me access them ;\
When i click on a forum to post a topic it shows this;

Quote:Not Found

The requested URL /forums/forum-4.html was not found on this server.

Any idea?? everything else works fine it will let me make a forums etc login everything is perfect just wont let me access them as if they aren't there but shows up, i tried to get a answer from the irc channel though everyones idle

Have you renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess?

Yes I have I did that before i installed the forums, which is when you're supposed to do it.

Then it doesn't work on your host apparently. Go to the ACP > Server and Optimization Options and disable Search Engine links, then report back.

i know you solved the proble but can I ask who your host is maybe i can help you to have search friendly urls on?

Well you're getting a 404 now because it looks like the files are in the wrong place.... i.e. not in /forums/

Problem fixed, also i switched everything to doomdesignz.com
