hi..there.. i am new here.. i just installed mybb everything was going cool..after installation i logged in admin panel...

then when i tried to add any forum or edit any configuration i got this message -

You don't have permission to access /forum/admin/index.php on this server.

Whats the problem??

i hosted at HOST GATOR and i never seen this kind of error before!!

i gave mysql user all permissions.... but still getting this error!!!

please help me....

and interesting thing is i logged out and then try to login again and it says that "user name or password didnt match"!!!

whats wrong??

Moved to correct forum.

Please use the search function on the forums. This problem has been answered many, many times.

Contact your host and ask them to whitelist your domain/account against mod_security.
