I don't have any problems with either site. Which browser are you using to register?
There was a bug in earlier versions of MyBB that prevented IE from registering. Which version of MyBB are you using?
If it's IE, we have a theory.
When registering, type the password into the registration form, and also click 'login' ion the welcomeblock so it opens the login forum there, type the password in the password fields, and then submit the registration.
Basically IE doesn't like all the password fields, I believe this will sort it.
I use FF3,and MyBB 1.4.4 me and my friends can't registered becouse say It's not a same password.
Typically, the problem with IE is the theme (if I remember right).
If you do this test - make the MyBB theme your default, and see if you can register that way...

It'll either be the browser, or the theme causing it.
