Ok, I have read the wiki, is this what I need to do...

Back up forum
Overwrite all files with new ones
and run the upgrade...

(upgrading from 1.4.1)
Will my users be kept???

Is this right???

Yes, we wouldn't expect you to start again when upgrading. The users are stored in the users table, not any files.

Backup database and files, upload changed files, run upgrade script.
