I recently installed MyBB as the solution for my support forum on Feeded News, which is my brand new free open source PHP news script. I have used the afresh black theme with my main logo and my own favicon.

You can add as many feeds and categories as you like from the Admin Panel. That means adding RSS feeds from any sites you visit including gaming, blogs, software and more.
I apologize. I need to make the Admin demo contain a more visible link to the administration panel.

Password: admindemo
Log in to there and click on the Cateogories and Feeds section. Try adding an RSS feed from any of your favorite sites in a category of your choosing, and then return to the home page of the site.

Maybe this is an idea you can look in to.

The Timezone in the ACP under the main config should be a drop-down menu with the list. Makes things a lot easier.
