When it says:

"Per Page: *
Please enter the number of mass mailings to run per page"

What does that mean? It is, as a default, set to 50. Can anyone explain what this means to me?

It means it will send 50 at a time, then you have to either click "next" or wait for the task scheduler to run again. It's basically to prevent your server from being overloaded and "timing out" in the middle of sending all your PMs. The setting is mainly for large boards. Generally you can leave it as default.
