I've sent a PM to all my users via the "mass-mail" admin option. Some members (including me) received the normal PM notification including the url to the forum to read the PM. However, some other users received an empty mail from my website without a subject and without a body. From what I know so far someone had it with his hotmail account and someone had it with a private hosting account (personal domain email address).

Before I sent the mass-mail PM I checked if my host had the correct settings for PHP-mail using the Wiki guide (because I first wanted to sent a mass-mail instead of a mass PM). There were no problems encountered with the PHP mail test.

Any ideas why this happend? I'm running latest version of MyBB with plugins: Site News Plugin, Image Resizer & Optimizer with GD & FLV Tag.

P.S.
If people need the source code of the blank email I can post it here, but I'm not sure if there is any sensitive info in it (besides the email addresses).
You say "some users"... Is there any correlation (anything the same) that you can notice between those that receive a normal email, and those that receive a blank one?
The 2 users that I know off both have a custom user group as primary usergroup (no secondary). One is 'VIP' and can see and post in site development forums and one is 'Founder' which adds extra moderator functionality and can see and post in site development forums. However, another member who is also in the 'Founder' group did get the email correctly.

I suspect that others also got a blank email. It's a small starting community with currently 21 members. Some people visit regularly, many others don't visit regularly. I checked to see if they have been online since the PM was sent, but none of the 'casual' visitors has been to the site to check their PM. Of course I don't know if this is because the email wasn't sent correctly or if they are on vacation/ignored the email or something else.
I'm just wondering now whether it's the email client. Obviously you have a html and a text version of the email... perhaps by default their email client is set to only read text - html will be seen as an attachment.

Is there any source code for the blank emails?
This is one, I've removed the sender and recipient's email address to protect against spam.

That doesn't look quite right to me, if it's even related.
I have absolutely no clue why it's referring to admin-index.php in that email source code, such a file doesn't even exist in the installation package.
Any ideas about the message's source code?
Here is another source from a blank mail. I tested it as follows: mass mail PM to custom user group 'Founders'. 3 Members are in this group, one is myself (Administrator) and I have this is display group and 2 members who have the 'Founders' group as their primary group. I received the email, one of the Founders users received the email and the other one did not (using MSN email).

This is the source code from that email:

It seems that there are still references to "/forum/admin-index.php"

It's meant to be there - it protects the location of your Admin directory. To be honest, I'm not sure what it could be. Do you and the other member who received it OK use something other than MSN/Live accounts? Have you tried the Mail help in the Wiki?
