Hi,

I just upgraded to 1.4 having been out for quite a while.

I was wondering how I could get rid of the posbit issues I am having and return to what I had before. I tried the display posts settings in the admincp and they didn't work.

What code do I need to remove? I think some edits where mad way back in mybb 1.2 but I just don't know where!

Searching is a wonderful thing.

The ACP setting is only for guests and new users. Current users have to change it in their ACP. To see how to remove the option to change postbit styles and how to force a style, see here: http://community.mybboard.net/thread-40093.html

Followed the instructions. Problem still the same?

Well, you can't have done it correctly. The SQL queries there will put everybody on whatever postbit you tell it to, the only thing that will stop it working is if the 2 different postbit templates are the same for some reason.

However I still have a duplicate box. How do I remove that? Thanks

Ah ok, revert your postbit and postbit_classic templates to default.
