I have finally successfully found a forum that will work with my host but now I am having problems with my install!

I am trying to install MyBB 1.4 to a Go-daddy deluxe hosting.

When going through the setup and trying to change the CHMOD settings through windows FTP as well as Filezilla my settings are not changing.. When going thought the Windows FTP its telling me that "this server does not support permissions changes". Is this something I have to go through my host to change? Or am I just missing a step in the install?

This is my first website and am a novice obviously. Any help would be appreciated,

You have to change the CHMOD settings in your file manager in some way. If you're having troubles, you'll have to ask your host about how to go about changing them.
