hi,
how can i change the label of the username field? If i want to give any customized lable insted of username....

What exactly do you mean by 'label'?? Do you mean you want to change the word 'Username' to something else??

If you open global.lang.php, find:

$l['username'] = "Username:";

And change Username: to whatever you want it to show.

thanks for your fast reply, actually i have found same file in 2 places i.e., language\english, language\english\admin and i tried in both places even if i could't see any results in Label. i have entered "email id" instead of username,
