There is not global css so how do I add a background?

So when you go to ACP > Templates & Style > **click your theme name** > there's no global.css??

Go to ACP > Templates & Style > Create New Theme > give it a name > Open it > copy the contents of global.css > Open your normal theme > click Add Stylesheet > paste the code in > save.
