So, this would be great to have, say Generate 5 Random keys per user, so they can invite people to the Board, and to Vew the board you must be registered, and you can only register if you have a key?

Im really thinking about having a private board for me and some friends, and i think this would work perfect.

As i want to be able to have new people join, even if i dont know then, and see whos invited who etc.

Should stay as a plugin IMHO.

I agree. Something this big should definitely be left as a plugin.

There is a plugin, but it hasn't been updated for 1.4.

could someone update it?

Oh right, ausom a plugin, how hard a job is it to update it to the latest version of mybb?
