I can not say what is exactly causing this issue but a client described me the following: http://www.webmasterserve.com/post-excha...hange.html

I tried it on my own and really it does not work, nobody can sign up in my forum (I closed it for now).

So I tried to create an account in ACP but I got the following error page, please help ...
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<!-- end: error -->
Make sure all usergroups except the banned group has permission to view the board. Also make sure all your language files are uploaded.
They all have permission to view at least parts of the board and some of the members which are already registered also posted after my latest changes so they can access the board as standard member (not belonging to staff team). And I did not changed anything about the languages.
For now I removed the registration link till the database issue is fixed. But anyway I see no way how to get that fixed, any other ideas then checking group permissions and languages ?
